The Mulliner division will be celebrating Bentley's 100th anniversary next year with the release of a Mulsanne special edition. It pays tribute to the company's founder, W.O. Bentley and even has a portion of one of his vehicles.
The special model available on a long-wheelbase or a regular-wheelbase Mulsanne or Mulsanne Speed is inspired by the 1930 8 Litre Bentley that W.O. The 1930 8 Litre Bentley that W.O. The influence of the car can be observed in the cabin. For instance, a Mulliner illuminated bar cabinet houses a display with a piece of the 8 Litre crankshaft on display inside.
Other highlights include a chrome application that runs back to the side of the car, which has an air vent that is photoetched that features W.O. The front grille has been designed following 1930s-inspired Onyx, and there's an additional chrome-colored application on the lower spoilers on the left and right. The front grille is distinctive, with the chrome-colored shell instead of the standard body-colored mesh, which is typical of the regular Mulsanne and featuring the Flying B logo as well.
The key box is embossed with Bentley wings and comes with an black flock lining. Key pouches can be purchased to match or contrast the key box. The set includes a custom 1:18 scale model of the 8 Litre and a flying 'B' paperweight along with a printed brochure that features previously unpublished images of the original 1930s 8 Litre.
